Elevada makes software that helps subject matter experts organize their data – quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
Your organization's knowledge is central to its identity and a critical component of its value. Yet the people in the organization best positioned to contribute to and help organize this knowledge are typically some of the busiest in the enterprise, and for good reason: they're your subject matter experts (SME's).
Why not give them tools making it much easier for them to capture, annotate, and publish complex datasets? That's where Elevada comes in.
Whether it's managing a giant catalog of documentation in a spreadsheet, reconciling the records from two major databases into a brand new system – or in myriad other opportunities – Elevada's solutions can make a dramatic difference in data project speed, quality, and cost.
Our core product is called Curator. It's a web-based application where users can collboratively import, annotate, and publish datasets to a master datastore or for export to the outside world. Curator's annotation editor pages are configured by straightforward XML templates and can handle complex data types and custom annotation rules.
Curator also manages controlled vocabulary (official terminology using your organization's specific language) with an ontology management interface that's easy to learn and yet surprisingly powerful.
Elevada's technology was initially developed to handle some of the richest, densest information around: life sciences research data. While today we're still working in that domain, many other applications where our approach can be quickly effective include:
- Healthcare and insurance information
- Product data management (PDM) and Materials safety data sheet (MSDS) management
- Legal information
- Multi-organization data integration resulting from mergers and acquisitions
